Dr. Stephanie Cheng

Dr. Stephanie Cheng has been described as a gentle, naturally caring and patient centered dentist. She works with each person to create a customized plan to provide the best dental treatment possible. She strives to deliver professional, high quality dental care and to make her patients feel comfortable.

Dr. Stephanie Cheng grew up near Edmonton, Alberta and completed both her Bachelor of Science degree and Masters of Science degree in Microbiology at the University of Alberta. Prior to becoming a dentist, she worked as a research scientist in the field of microbiology at the University of Alberta and University of Manitoba. She taught microbiology courses at Baylor University in Texas.

Following her passion for patient care, Dr. Cheng earned a Dentistry degree (DMD) from University of British Columbia. During her dental education at UBC, she was a recipient of the Dental Undergraduate Society Award and the UBC Community Service Recognition Award for her dedication to patient care in underserved communities.

Dr. Cheng has extensive post-graduate training in the areas of Implant Dentistry, Invisalign and Orthodontic Dentistry, Root Canal Therapy, Tissue and Bone Grafting, Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning and Cosmetic Dentistry.

When she is away from work, she loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys the outdoors, including running, hiking, mountain biking and skiing.
